About

I’m Sascha Schlinghoff, a photographer working across aviation, travel, and landscape photography.

My photography sits at the intersection of two long-standing interests: a fascination with aircraft and a love of being on the move. Over time that grew into a wider practice — chasing good light at the end of a runway, along a quiet temple path, or across an open landscape. I care most about clean composition, natural light, and images that reward a second look.

Much of my recent work comes from travels through Japan, where dense cityscapes, traditional architecture, and dramatic scenery offer no shortage of subjects — from neon-lit Tokyo streets to mountain views and centuries-old shrines.

What I shoot

  • Aviation — aircraft, airfields, and the details around them.
  • Travel — streets, cities, and the texture of a place.
  • Landscape — wide, quiet scenes shaped by natural light.
